Day 1

Kampala/Entebbe to the Misty Peaks of Bwindi

Your adventure begins early this morning as your dedicated Saventra Safaris guide picks you up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe. Leaving the city hustle behind, journey southwest through a shifting tapestry of rural towns and open savannah pastures. Stop at the official Uganda Equator line for a classic photo opportunity and an interactive water experiment.

Continue through Mbarara for a relaxed lunch before ascending into the breathtaking Kigezi highlands. Watch the landscape transform into steep, hand-terraced green hills as you arrive at the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park by late afternoon. Unwind at your lodge as the evening mist settles gently over the ancient canopy.

Day 2

The Ultimate Mountain Gorilla Trekking Experience

Day 3

Return to Kampala via the Equator Line

Enjoy a final morning coffee looking out over the ancient forest canopy as the sun clears the mist. Today, you will begin your return journey across the rolling hills of southwestern Uganda.

Stop along the way for a delicious lunch and pause at the local craft markets for distinct, hand-carved souvenirs. You will arrive back in Entebbe or Kampala by late afternoon or evening, carrying memories of deep jungle paths, warm local smiles, and a wildlife encounter that will stay with you forever.
