Day 1

Kampala to Ziwa Rhino Tracking & Murchison Falls

After a relaxed lunch at the sanctuary, continue north, crossing the iconic Nile River to enter Murchison Falls National Park Murchison Falls National Park. Wind down your evening listening to the ambient sounds of the wilderness waking up around your lodge.

Day 2

Sunrise Game Drive & Iconic Nile Boat Cruise

Wake up to the cool morning breeze of the savannah. After a quick coffee, embark on a sunrise game drive across the northern delta tracks. This is prime time for predators; your guide will help you spot lions returning from their night hunts, elusive leopards, towering Rothschild’s giraffes, elephants, and elegant hartebeests.

Return to the lodge for a midday rest and a warm lunch. In the afternoon, experience the park’s centerpiece: a 3-hour boat safari along the River Nile toward the base of the falls. Sail past hundreds of hippos, basking crocodiles, and elephants drinking at the water’s edge. The boat stops just short of the thunderous devil’s cauldron, offering an unparalleled view of the cascading waters.

Day 3

Top of the Falls Walk & Return to Kampala

After a hearty breakfast, check out and drive to the Top of Murchison Falls. It is a profoundly humbling sensory experience.

Following this dramatic spectacle, begin your return journey south toward Kampala or Entebbe. Stop along the way for a delicious lunch, arriving back in the capital by late afternoon or early evening.
